Why we built MockItReal.
We've sold print on demand for more than ten years - on Etsy, Shopify, and Amazon. We've launched thousands of products. And for that entire time, one thing never got easier: mockups.
Designs were the fun part. Mockups were the grind. Open Photoshop, place the design, adjust the Smart Object, export, rename, repeat. A full collection meant a lost weekend. We hired help, tried every mockup tool on the market, wrote scripts that broke constantly. Nothing solved it.
The tools all forced a trade-off: fast but generic, or custom but slow. None of them were built by people who actually sold at volume. You could feel it in the product.
